Holiday Ornament Making

Join us to create your own set of personalized ornaments! Come inspired - everything you need will be provided BUT feel free to bring any cookie cutters, stamps, or textured items that you’d like to use :-)
You will have the opportunity to create ~4-6 personalized ornaments (depending on level of detail & time) and then paint/decorate towards the end of the session - keep them all or gift to friends!
We will be using a white clay, so you’re also welcome to leave them undecorated, letting the natural clay colour shine through.
After the workshop, once everything is completely dry, your creations will be bisque fired in the kiln, then dipped in a clear glaze, and fired again to transform into finished ornaments.
Ornaments will be ready for pick up in 3-4 weeks - you will be notified via email when they are finished.

✳ Important notes on accessibility/scents:
As the Field Kit Studio is located on the 4th floor of an older building, stairs are required to access the space. There is a loading elevator available (with 4 steps needed to access it), please let us know ahead of time if you require assistance and we'll be happy to help! :-)
The Studio is also primarily used for candle making & workshops - if you are highly sensitive to scents / have scent allergies please consider this before purchasing tickets.
Length: approx. 2 hours
Workshop includes:

Any instruction / guidance needed to create your pieces
Light sips & snacks

✳ Due to the unpredictable nature of ceramics (especially during the drying & kiln firing process), pieces made in class have the potential to crack, break, blister or explode. I will do my best to ensure your work survives the firing, but will not be held responsible for undesired results
